Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on 13 December 1989 in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift has been a singer/songwriter from the pop/country genre for the past 20 years. Swift had taken her ideas from Shania's music as well as her band the Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks within the realm of music from the country genre, created the original songs she wrote to express her feelings of alienation. Swift's family relocated into Tennessee from Pennsylvania at the age of 13so she could spend longer pursuing country music labels in Nashville.
