Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a member of SSC's Board of Directors since 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. While serving as SSC's Artistic Director, Lauren Ash-Morgan was also in the roles of producer costume/set designers composer/music directors and text coaches. The last year of her tenure she served as director of lighting and design for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble but in this the year that she made her directorial debut. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. In addition to her acting work, she's also part of several games programs. Her two sisters and daughter were nurtured with her father, a scientist Richard F. Post, and poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School is where she was a student and took part in cheerleading. After a brief stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Post was previously married to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer since 1982. Together, they have two daughters. Post is a wonderful actress, an ideal wife and mom and she is a role model to several Hollywood stars.
